It's Guan's 21st!
It's finally meet-up time after a long long wait...
=)
Met up with the rest at orchard for lunch and prezzie.

At the Central Eatery...
The a little gay couple that ate their cheap cheap trishaw or ricksaw noodles...
Heh
Misleader and his "I love Beach Life" Tee...
*shake head*

Zar Bors at the cafe

Shopped around, wanted to get a bikini for Guan but couldn't find a suitable piece =(
So, after much dilly-dally-ing, we went to get her nice nice diamond earrings *sparkles*

=)

Much to our delight, Ms Chee came over to Wisma to pick some of us up!
Hur hur!

Cdians have finally upgraded!
We've got drivers and cars!
*claps*

So there, we split into 2 groups, one with Eunice and the other with Mr Rong...
How convenient!

And for the first time, Cdians were actually early!
No late-commers... Woo Hoo!
But it was slightly early for the party as Guan was not prepared...
So we hung around at the pool site crapping before proceeding upstairs...

...for some drinks, chatting, news-watching and planning for our "night outing".

Oh... and some photo sessions too...

"Channel 5 please!"

The living room which contained our screams (when Guan's dog was let out), gossipping and memories when we were in our teens...
We Most Cdians are adults now!
Hmm...
Seems like most are not behaving like one...
Wahahhaha!
=P

With a good host like Guan's dad, we had our fill of satays, fish, veges, otahs, charred chicken wings and chips...
*burp*

Cheese cake which tasted more like an ice-cream cake
This is good...

Us now as compared to

Us in 2002 (when we were 16!)
@ Guan's birthday too!

Sadly, we forgot to take the pic at the exact spot!
=(
We were still discussing our position before the party started
lolx!

After the eating, drinking, gosipping and deciding where and what to do...

We finally reached a conclusion...

We wanna go Geylang and then go watch 车摇!
=)
Hehehe...
After some hesitation regarding road blocks and stuff (cuz we had 12 peeps and only 2 cars), we braved ourselves and embarked on our exciting night... Lol

1st Stop, Geylang...

Wanted to stop somewhere and perhaps grab some durians but we found ourselves stuck in a crowded and car-packed area...
Couldn't park the cars so had to change our plans...

Wasn't a wasted trip though cuz Expert Rong drove us to 打开眼界...

However, seeing those ladies stand in a row, offer themselves to men just makes me wonder why... Why why why...

Maybe some got cheated into the "industry" but for the others?
For quick cash perhaps...
*shake head*

2nd Stop, ECP...

Switched off the car headlights, the 2 cars overloaded with tico pehs kpos drove around a near-empty carpark...

Haha... and so... we didnt managed to catch any 车摇
Sadded... LOl...
Only saw misty car windows and taxi ah pehs... lolx...

Anyway, it wa a pretty enjoyable day with Cdians as we ended it with Mac Breakie...
I hear Yik asking for more melons in Geylang....

Oh! And how can I forget to salute Ms Chee for her driving!!
She's really daring enuff to 闯 traffic light... Lolx...

*salutes*

But really 辛苦 the 2 drivers le...
Looking forward to more Cdians with cars.. lolx...
Those who want to buy, you can consider a lorry.... =)

To Guan Yi:

Happy Birthday Guan!
May everything be smooth sailing for your studies and career!
Come back soon so we all can meet up again!

Take care of yourself in Aussie...
Enjoy!

Ah Yee

Yeah!

I've finally settled the chalet booking!

I've successfully won the ballot for a unit in HomeTeamNS Pasir Ris Holiday Chalets‎

Dear Sir/Mdm,

We are pleased to inform you that your application for the above-mentioned facility is confirmed and have been allocated: -

Date / Time of Check In : 31 AUG 2007 (2pm to 8pm)
Date / Time of Check Out : 2 SEPT 2007 (9am to 11am)
Unit No : B6
Naughty Boy dearest brought me to "view" the place before making payment just to make sure it's the right decision...
So we set off to Pasir Ris before meeting the rest to Gy's place...

Let me summarise the pros and cons...
I shall start with the negatives...
CONS:
  • Far from Downtown East
  • Walk a distance from the bus stop (chalet situated at the end of a straight road)
  • Looks kindna Ulu (though located near Pasir Ris Park) and old
  • Not many peeps have been there before, might be hard to locate
  • Not sure if there's lotsa mosquitoes
  • Not sure if lighting is enough at night
  • Not much activities to do (might get boring)

PROS:

  • Big bungalow, spacious, 4 rooms!
  • BBQ Pit located just outside the living room (enough space for buffet too)
  • Near Pasir Ris Park and beach
  • Pasir Ris Park has got nice playgrounds
  • Cheaper than Coasta Sands Chalets
  • Somewhere different rather than the usual chalets
  • Own car porch with sufficient space at the side to accomodate more cars
  • Can rent majong tables and bikes nearby

Asked the rest for opinions and most of them would go with this chalet =)
Means I can save the extra moolahs and spend them on food etc...
Hur hur!

So ya, I shall make an official statement:
You are invited to my 21st birthday celebration!

Date: Those who are staying, it's 31st Aug to 2nd Sep
For the actual celebration, it's 1st Sep
!

Time: TBA (about 6 plus?)

Venue: HomeTeamNS Pasir Ris Holiday Chalets‎
No 125A - 125H Pasir Ris Road (next to PA Holiday Chalets)

By Car/Taxi:
Pls refer to this map

Source

By MRT/Bus:
Take 403 from Pasir Ris Interchange @ MRT station
Alight at about the 11th stop after the interchange

- Enjoy the first 5 mins of your journey
- you will turn into a straight road with rows of residential bungalows on your left and Pasir Ris Park on your right
- drop off after a round-about

"The view from inside the bus at the bus stop"

- @ the bus stop, stand facing the park/beach and you will see a long straight road beside a community centre on your left
- there shd be a sign saying "HomeTeamNS" or something
- Follow the road all the way

"This is somewhere near the start of the road...
The chalet is at the end..."

"Almost there..."

- you will see PA Holiday Chalet on your right (which looks alot like a school... with basketball court, canteen and all)
- Walk all the way and you can find me at the end of the road!

"Walk into the gate and you will be greeted with this sight..."
(B6 is the first chalet from the right)

"The basketball and tennis court is on your left"

"The unit from (taken facing the gate)"

"That's where the car porch is..."

"The other side of the bungalow...
That's my unit (located just beside the bike rental station)"

"The front of the balcony faces this open field and Pasir Ris Park...
There's a old school playground!"

"This is the entrance to Pasir Ris Park via a back gate...
Can go beach!"

"That's the gate I'm referring to...
There's this small shop where there's a pool table and some arcade machines"
(spot the difference and some fighting game machines which naughty boy loved... It's only 40c per game!)

This is getting exciting!
I'm thinking about the guests list, decor, cake, food and activities....
Weeeeeee

Will update more as time comes...

This entry will serve as a guide to my ulu chalet...
Hope this is useful cuz I don't want any of you to get lost!!
