Wee...
Sex and the City... I like~~
A must watch, especially to all SATC fans! =)

Been quite some time (in my sec sch days?) since I last caught Carrie Bradshaw, Samantha Jones, Charlotte York and Miranda Hobbes on screen~
Thankfully for the scriptwriters, they had a little recap of the TV series plot...
=D
Definitely helped me recall some of the scenes and characters.

Lots of beautiful clothes, bags, shoes, babes, hunks...
A DREAMY CLOSET (note: every girl's dream to own that one!)
and of cuz... hot.. ahem... sexy... ahem... scenes...
We swear it is suppose to be R21!
Colleagues were saying... they prob let loose for the gala... =D
Yay~

I was wondering how can SATC be rated any less than R21?
Well, if you watch the series, you should know why...
=P

Love how the characters stay so close to each other throughout different stages of their lives...
and how their characters remain just how they are in the series...
Carrie with her fabulous fashion sense (Oh, I must respect her for going without make-up in one of the scene... *applause*)
Samantha with her ever-hor*y, straight forward personality and Botox... (Ooo... the sushi scene was hilarious!)
Charlotte and her cute and sweet persona... well, sometimes a little... "I curse the day you are born" =/
Lawyer Miranda with her bush... LOL

Btw, a little trivia here if you don't already know
They are all above 40...
According to my colleague, Cynthia Nixon (Miranda) is actually the youngest at 41 I think...
and then... Kim Cattrall (Samantha) is the oldest at 51...
Must take my hats off Cynthia Nixon who was going through chemotherapy during movie production cuz she had breast cancer...
But she still looked good :)

So please please please, catch SATC...
2 hours of laughter, tears (for some) and enviousness *swoons at dream closet and hot bodies*

=)

A Long overdue post...

Our April babies had their birthday celebration at Central.
I like the way how birthdays are planned now...
Cuz we are taking turns! :)

Well, IZ and Yik did a pretty good job in planning for this though it's weird that Yik had a part in organising his own birthday gathering. Lol

Settled at Manhattan Fish Market after my long day at Suntec Mobile Anni Roadshow...
Though there wasn't much to do =/
And I know I looked damn tired...
*yawns*

Thank goodness for naughty boy who came over to fetch me :)

Had 3 huge plates of fatty food...
All the fried seafood!
Was yummy though...
Bah~ Sinful food usually taste good... LOL

Plus, the service there was pretty good, at least the staff was courteous.

the birthday kids with their delicious, delicately decorated petit fours~

Nearly full attendance

Lovely sweet little things.

Macaroons are sure getting popular around here...
I must say, they look so delectable and interesting but taste wise, I will gladly choose my chocolate or cheesecakes anytime. :)
Not that Macaroons dont taste good, they are just a tad too sweet for my liking :P

Girls whom I forever look huge beside...

The piece i chose!
Nice nice Chocolate cake mini with praline in it? and gold wordings! I like!

Hung around at Riverside munching on IZ's donuts look-a-like...
Hmm... Can't rmb what that pastry is called... Chewy Jr?
I believe that's a pretty good substitute for donuts since they are baked...
:)

Proceeded to the fountain area with all the pubs and then off to MOS...
Call me a freak or what, it was my first time there...
Interesting, nice place to hang out and watch ppl dance along with the music but definitely not my cup of tea.
No doubt, a place that I don't mind visiting once in a while to do some people watching or just simply, to hang out late. :D

To the April babies, hope you all had a great time!

See ya all soon~ :)
