Definitely had a memorable time there, though, a very short stay indeed...

I never thought I would be there for only 6 mths but oh well...

Just last Tues, we had a team lunch for my farewell at PS Cafe @ Dempsey...

Cons of Braces

1) Outlook - Why is it that everybody looks cute or still look good with braces on but I look otherwise? Upset!

2) Pain factor - Try getting more than 5 cuts on your lips + inner walls.. Hmmm

3) "Suan" Factor - My teeth feels like they are coming off... Oh man...

4) Dry Factor - Not sure if it's because of braces but my lips have became extremely dry... Well, I will just blame it on braces anyway!

Pros of Braces

1) Consumption - Yay! Lesser intake (i hope) and most are non-solid =)
But every now and then, I challenge my teeth by taking a few bites of solid food...

ok... I'm just plain greedy la...

Something random: this little one poo-ed on my bed and pee-ed on my shorts!

2) Outlook - Onwards to bright and pretty Hollywood smile!

Well, not exactly cuz it's just brackets.. no wires yet...

Beijing Olympics

Lots of rave for the opening ceremony... Didn't manage to catch a lot of it but I must agree, some of the parts were pretty cool... Well choreographed by Director Zhang.

With the chain of events, the newsroom must be damn busy...

The teeth have changed colour...
It was more bloody yesterday but has since changed to a more dirty yellowish colour...

Yucks...

I wonder how much blood I lost yesterday...

But surprisely, my mouth didn't hurt as much as expected
Everyone's been telling me how pain extracting of wisdom teeth is...

Especially when I've another 4 molars to go as well...

Instead, I woke up in pain due to the soreness of my throat...
Apparently, they stuck a tube down my nose and throat so I could breathe..
=(

I could have had a painless op if not for that tube... =/

I survived!

Spent a hot and stuffy saturday evening @ Fort Canning...

It was the Singapore Music Festival a.k.a SingFest 08

SH has spent a $X amount on the sponsorship so we went down to see if the brand presence is worth the price tag...


Was late to meet Eyleen at PS =X

Took the exciting Nokia bus ride to FCP.

I know this bus has been around for quite some time but never had the chance to board.

So we had a comfortable short ride...

But still had to scale the flight of stairs to the top of the hill =(

Was sticky by the time we reached the top... =/

Went in and made our way to SH's VIP room...

Love the air-con there... We just had to spend more time there

Checked out the external tentage which had a full view of the stage...

Besides, there was free flow of drinks... Wee...

Dinner buffet was pretty good with scallops and escargots *slurps*

And I found a healthy way to snack...

Celery, carrots or cucumber sticks dipped in salsa...

Tasted better than expected =)

Chatted the whole night away...
Seems I won't be able to attend more of such events in the new comp...
