Went Jurong Pt to run some errands and happened to pass by my old house in Jurong...
Just brought back memories of the good old days...

This is the area near the Jurong Swimming complex...
I remember the mornings where I would wake up early (that's right, morning, no mistake!) for a jog/walk along the "river" with mum...
The swimming complex wasn't even built then!
That's the community library (which has closed down) I really loved...
During those days, libraries were located damn far from my place (had to travel to jurong east central or jurong point! Hey! I do read ok!?)

The little park in front my block...
They used smelly cow dung as fertilizers for those plants...
Oh... and there's a playground I played for the first decade (at least) of my life...

My daily supper supply from delifrance~
Chocolate, banana, blueberry muffins, sandwiches and mummy's fav french loaf...
The little me will run along happily with the few dollars mum gave for the Esso trip.
Those were the days when...
mum had lesser white hair,
bro was always in control of the TV set,
sis would snatch away my fav blanket,
dad would appear in the black box,
naughty boy wasn't in the picture,
cdians and chummies were still strangers,
10 bucks was a fortune,
dieting was a joke,
even Osama was unheard of...

Sigh sigh sigh...
Gone were the days...
