Recap 2007

• Grew damn fat
• Made new friends
• Accompanied Nauti Boy thru a tough time... but came out as strong as ever!
• Had a wonderful 21st birthday celebration with dearest family and friends
• Lost my handphone - got pickpocketed
• Got my first full amount bonus (or 13th month to be exact)
• Tried studio directing for (an embarassing ) first time (and probably the last)
• Paid off my school fees (A great relief!)
• Completed most of school modules (1 more to go!)
• Tasted my first logcake (Thanks to Ah Xi and Ah Fy)
• Welcomed a new darling to the family - Little niece Yi Xuan
• Dylan learnt to call me "Gu Gu"

2007 hasn't been too bad =)

Resolution 2008

• Complete my Studies without any retakes
• Get a new job with better prospects and $$
• Save up more money to pay back my personal debts
• Slim down to personal expectation
• Eat less and work out more so I don't get wind in my tummy so frequently
• Maintain this great relationship with dearest Nauti Boy
• Put on Braces
• Take up driving
• Keep in contact with all friends and ex colleagues

Had a grocery spree with Beh, xi and Fy which we ended buying alot despite beh's reminder not to buy too much... And who was the one who insisted on buying 3 packs of crabsticks and a tub of nata de coco?

After giving up, we had a hearty chat bout 大男人 and 小女人!

So we understand Kenny's plea in transforming Mei from a 大女人 to a 小女人!

As usual, Chum's conversation got exaggerated and we thought of how we will throw/squeeze mei into kenny's house... Lol!

There's a lovely crunch to the cake and a tinge of sourish cherry filling (? I forgot the name of it) and it's heavenly... =)

It was a fun dinner, had a lovely time chatting and laughing till my jaws hurt!

The fragility of life...

News that shocked many last night... Ms Bhutto's death
Though I don't really follow Pakistan politics...
It's pretty obvious the country's in quite a chaotic state with all the protests, bomb blasts and killings...

Though I don't quite agree with the more than often fare hikes, I've to be content with life in Singapore...
At least we don't live everyday in constant fear, paranoid about political killings and dramatic street protests.
It's definitely not a nice sight with all the streets filled with blood puddles and injured peeps (like those scenes you see on news coverage on the incident)

Mum came back last night from her trip...
One of her friend (who went along with the tour) had a sudden heart attack while they were scaling some small mountain, he collapsed and passed away just like that...

And to think we trusted travel insurances...

They didn't manage to bring the body back to Singapore cuz of the hefty fees (the insurance company didnt wanna bear the cost!) and so had to be cremated in China...

It's pretty sad not being able to be "sent off" in your own homeland and your children not being able to sent you in your "last journey"...

I always feel for those who pass away overseas...

It was suppose to be a long-awaited, fun and relaxing trip but something like tt happened..
Unexpected, traumatising for some of the travel mates and poor mum who didnt had good night rest throughout the trip...

So much unhappy incidents happening around...

What a way to end the year...

May the deceased rest in peace...

The youngest of Chums is finally 21!!

After a day of shopping and sourcing pressie for my dear niece's 1st month, I managed to drop by Swensons to wish ah fy happy birthday~!

So sorry to Fy cuz I didn't stayed for long...

Merry Christmas everyone!

Had a great feasting session at West Coast Park last night with dearest Cdians...
Had an illegal BBQ gathering with our own pits etc...

Lots of food (thanks to JR, Ju, Gwee and Darius for a special grocery trip the day before) like taiwan sausages, hotdogs, otah, chickenwings, sotong balls, crabsticks, prawns, stingray, honey baked ham etc marinated by our very own chef Teo!

*slurps!*
