It's nearing the end of my stint at MCN...

After a night of poker carding at Sandy's, an unbelievable incident to work (my bus took the wrong route and had to U-turn back to the right road) and a tiresome morning shift on 初四, I managed to battle against my ZZzz monster and 拜年-ed with Chummies...

Didn't manage to join them for the 1st 2 rounds at Mei's and Beh's due to work...

So, met them at my place....

Had games of 21点 and I won $$!! Hurhur!

Luck has been good so far and I hope it will last throughout the year =)

I wanna "鼠"钱"鼠"不完~~!

Ah Sha had to leave early so we continued our game and at the last round (which I placed the most bet since it was the last game), I got 2 As!

Huat Ah!

It was the famous and much talked-about annual gathering @ Sandy's...

I missed the gathering last year and heard so much bout it...

Esp all the "Huat" stories...

This year, I had the company of Ling and Kang and since I'm leaving, spending more time with this bunch of great colleagues seems like a good idea...

Ling met me at Vivo after my gathering with Cdians and we actually shared a Carls Jr burger...
Ok... I shall not go on bout my CNY gorging...

Reached the other part of the island and bai-nian-ed to Sandy!

Waited for those at work to reach before munching and Lo-hei-ing!

Well... They came and it was time...
Since there were too many ppl round the table, I just squeezed in to "lo" once and quickly scrambled out...

After the games, we sat around chatting with this ex-chinese-reporter and talking bout our fellow colleagues...
Well, I hope I did my job well to be mentioned positively next time! Heh!

Kang and Ling went home first and since I had to wait for the West side people...

I went into the den!
After some persuasion and Poh Suan lending me $10 to play... I sat down...

Mine was a tiny $2 gamble per game and thankfully, I made $$ at the end =)

What a 初三!

The annual 初三 gathering for Cdians is here again...

Since no one offered their house for visiting, I opened mine though Mum and Dad wasn't around...

Welcomed them over after noon...
Some wii-ing and poker-carding to entertain all...

While the Ng couple went to get tickets for our movie... the rest went to get Lo Hei stuff...

Found the most affordable one and waited for them to reach...

It was in the recent years that I started eating lo-hei cuz I never thought it was nice!

Guess now, I've started to appreciate this Chinese salad and can finish my plate of the vegetables!
